Dr. Qingyun Li

Dr. Li was born and raised in Shanghai, China, where she obtained her Dental and PhD degrees. Before joining her husband in Canada, she had been practicing dentistry in Shanghai for nine years. In 2012, Dr. Li re-qualified and graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry with honours where she was awarded the first prize recipient of Dr. Alan K. Joe and Family Scholarship in Orthodontics. Dr. Li has been practising at Ridge Smile Dental Clinic in Ridgetown since 2012 and is honored to be part of this agriculture community. She enjoys practicing comprehensive dental care and believes in putting her patients' needs and well being first and foremost.

Dr. Li, her husband Jun and their lovely daughter Amy live on a hobby farm with two rescue dogs Birdie and Tanya, as well as many other animals including a donkey, two cats, two geese, two Jacob sheep, and numbers of chickens. The couple enjoys the quiet and peaceful country life, meanwhile, they are also passionate about small scale farming practices that support ecosystem regeneration and increase biodiversity. In her spare time, Dr. Li helps Jun run a market garden which covers organic vegetable growing, mushroom cultivation, beekeeping, free range chicken raising and so on. Amy attends the school in the City of London and has found the balance of socializing with her urban friends and interacting with her pet animals on the farm.
